Fee Structure for the Academic Year 2017-18

FEE RULES:-
1. The school fees are collected in advance for a period of three months (quarterly) at a time as follows:
i) April-June.       To be deposited by the 10th of April.
ii) July-Sept.       To be deposited by the 10th of July.
iii) Oct.-Dec.       To be deposited by the 10th of October.
iv) Jan.-March.    To be deposited by the 10th of January.

When the 10th happens to be a school holiday, the fees will be accepted on the next working day.

2. Cheques are to be drawn in favour of “Somerville School, Vasundhara Enclave”. Parents are advised to ensure that the name, the class and the admission number of their ward is neatly written at the back of the cheque. If a fee cheque is dishonoured due to insufficient funds, or any other reason, the parent should immediately contact the School Office. In such cases, the fee must be paid by Demand Draft with a fine of 7300/-. Dishonour of cheques is a criminal offence.

3. The School will provide fee slip booklets to all students from Classes Pre – Primary to XII.

4. Annual Charges and Development Fees may be paid in two equal installments in the months of April and October quarters.

Amount of Rs. 200/- will be charged. If the fees are not paid by the end of the concerned fee month, the name of the defaulter shall be struck off the rolls. Fresh admission will then have to be taken (at the sole discretion of the Principal) and in such cases parents will have to pay Rs. 2000/-(fine) + Rs. 200/-(re-admission fees).

5. No tuition fees or bus fees will be refunded by the school authorities even if a student attends class for one day and is subsequently withdrawn from the school. Annual Charges and Development Fee will be refunded proportionately according to the student’s attendance.

6. Bus fee is charged for eleven months in an academic year. At least one calendar month’s notice should be given for discontinuation of the bus facility or one month’s bus fees should be deposited in lieu thereof.

7. The Parent’s copy of the fee deposit slip is the valid fee receipt. No other receipt will be issued.

8. Tuition fee certificates will be issued only annually (in the month of March) on a written request after clearing all payments. The certificates will be issued from 2.00 to 3.00 pm within two working days after the receipt of the application.

Instructions for Bus Users:
1. Parents are requested not to enter school buses to see off and receive their wards.

2. Parents should not try to overtake and stop the School bus to facilitate the boarding of their wards as this endangers the safety of the bus and its occupants. This act would lead to strict disciplinary action, including withdrawal of school bus facilities to the concerned student.

3. Parents should not argue with the teachers present in the bus or the conductor / driver. If there is any problem, a written complaint to the Administrative Officer/Assistant Administrative Officer/ Bus In Charge should be given.

4. Under no circumstances students are allowed to go behind or under the parked buses within the school campus. Students are also not allowed to sit in the parked buses during school hours.

5. Under no circumstances, should students touch the instrument panel of the buses.

6. A student using the school bus is expected to be at the bus stop at least ten minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus. The student has to be on the correct side of the arriving bus.

School Events: Somerville School, Vasundhara Enclave orgnizes and participates in different Competitions, Events and Sports meets. The School runs Outreach Projects for different Noble Causes with students.
