DPS, Sector 45, Gurgaon was inaugurated on April 29th 2002 by Mr. Salman Khurshid, President DPSS and Mr. Narendra Kumar, Chairman DPSS.

The school is affiliated to C.B.S.E. and provides education to the students from class Nursery to XII. The Infant wing which houses the Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes is situated at Sector 40 and the primary wing at Sector 47.

DPS, Sector 45, Gurgaon boasts with all major sports facilities for all age group including gymnasium. The school also participates in the international events such as NASA Space School programme, International Art Festival, Model United Nations (MUN) and various student exchange programmes.
