Modern School, Barakhamba Road was founded by Lala Raghubir Singh in 1920. His dream was to provide holistic education coupled with Indian ethos. His father, Rai Bahadur Sultan Singh, who was a successful businessman in New Delhi, donated his sprawling mansion to help realize his son’s dream.
