Established in 1957, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya was set up by the Gujrat Education Society and is also administered by it. The name has been kept in honor of independent India’s first Home Minister, Sardadr Vallabh bhai Patel. The Governing Body lays down the direction, the policies and the guidelines for the Vidyalaya and monitors its performance on an ongoing basis.

Sardar Patel Vidyalaya is possibly the only Private School in India that employs Hindi as a medium of instruction in the Primary School. Though primarily subjects such as Math, Science and Social studies are taught in Hindi, students are taught ‘technical terms’ which are the English counterparts of whatever they learnt. The medium of education from 6^th grade onwards is English.

Online application process for Nursery:

Registration for admission to Pre-School will be done for children born on or before 31st March, 2014.
Please note that registration of the Application Form does not entitle or guarantee admission to an applicant.
Since there are limited seats available, all applicants cannot be accommodated. Only parents of short listed applicants will be called to verify the claims made in the admission form.
At the time of verification applicants will be required to bring original documents for verification and self-attested photocopies for submission.
After verification of documents, the applicants will be further short listed based on points acquired in criteria post verification of documents, and offered admission in order of merit. In case the number of applicants with the same points is more than the number of seats, a draw of lots will be conducted.
No telephonic or personal inquiries will be entertained regarding the status of any application.
Sardar Patel Vidyalaya is a Co-Educational Institution and as a part of its philosophy shall endeavor to maintain gender parity.
Admission will be valid only if the applicable fees and charges are paid in full by the prescribed date, together with necessary documents/certificates and on completion of all other required formalities.
Offer of admission does not mean an automatic allocation / availability of seat in the school bus. Bus facility is subject to availability. Request for relocation of a bus stop or extension/diversion of the bus route will not be entertained.
Every year, the Vidyalaya receives more applications than the number of seats available. Therefore, if an applicant is unable to secure a seat, it is in no way a reflection of his/her caliber.
In any matter regarding admission, its process or the formalities, the decision of the Vidyalaya will be final.
The total number of seats available for Pre-school for the academic year 2017-18 is 100.

Deposit Processing Fee at the Vidyalaya Premises on all working days (between 9:00 am to 12:00 noon from 16^thJanuary to 18^thJanuary, 2017).

Interaction for Short listed students: This is on the basis
of the written test. Students and their parents would be
invited for the Interaction. Please note dates.
After the interaction, only further short listed candidates in order of merit will be offered admission. In case, there are more applicants with the same points than seats, a draw of lots will be conducted.
