The curriculum for the ICSE is broadly divided into three groups. Each student entering Class IX opts for seven subjects from these three groups for a two year period of study till class X. At the end of class X, the student has to appear for an examination in the subjects he or she has studied.

Group I subjects are compulsory, and students have to choose TWO from Group II and ONE from Group III.

Group-I Subjects: English Language/Literature, Second Language Hindi /French /Sanskrit (Language + Literature), Social Studies (History / Civics, Geography).
Group-II Subjects: The combination that the school offers is Mathematics / Commercial Studies & Science/Economics Science comprises Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each subject is taught and assessed separately. However, the final assessment is reflected as a single grade.
Group-III Subjects: Art, Computer Applications, Physical Education

Only ONE Subject is to be offered from a choice of three subjects.
